The federal government of Nigeria has ban the Twitter from operating in Nigeria. This was made known through the federal ministry of information and culture account on twitter.
This was as a retaliation to Twitter for deleting one of the presidency tweet that violated there rules and regulations of use of harsh words. So the federal government in their way to show anger towards such act from the social media platform but Nigeria presidency isn’t the first Twitter are deleting their tweet, a good example is the formal president of the United States of America (Donald trump).
Donald trump was even banned completely from using the social media platform, Him knowing it’s the right of the platform to take such decisions to uphold their rules and regulations. Donald trump didn’t ban Twitter or do anything against it as the present president of Nigeria just did. We shall see how the whole sage plays out.
